I'm Joshua McKiddy, an experienced information security professional with over a decade in the field, specializing in areas such incident response, open-source tool development, secure architecture design, and penetration testing. My journey in cybersecurity has taken me through various roles, from security engineering, architecture, consulting, and incident response. I’ve helped many customers directly with securing their environments, through both guidance and hands on work. I take a “customer mindset” when it come to security, looking for how security benefits their experiences and confidence on using a given service.

I hold multiple certifications, including CISSP, AWS Certified Developer Associate, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). I’ve held additional certifications, including the AWS Certified Security Specialty, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.

I am a United States Army veteran, serving six years as a Information System Analyst, with multiple deployments into combat zones.
